Dior Releases Ramadan Exclusive Collection, There Is A Bag Worth Rp79 Million

Luxury fashion house, Dior, is back to present the latest collection. As Ramadan approaches, Dior is launching its latest capsule collection dedicated to the Middle East.

Reported from The National News page, Friday (9/4/2021), as part of Dior Gold Capsule, creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri reviewed one of the most enduring creations of this fashion house. From Christian Dior’s earliest haute couture creations, such as the famous Golconde dress and the Pactole silhouette.

Also clothes designed by Marc Bohan during his tenure as artistic director. This dress was also worn by actress Lauren Hutton in the 1982 film All Fired Up with gold details. Gold has been a hallmark of Dior throughout its history.

French poet and filmmaker Jean Cocteau once described his faithful friend, Christian Dior, as a “agile genius unique to our time with a magical name that combines god and gold, here and or”, forever wrapping Dior’s closeness with this sparkling color.

The presence of John Galliano in 1996 made metamorphosed gold a symbol of luxury as well as imaginary travel. For the spring/summer 2004 haute couture collection, this British designer celebrated the power of gold in an appearance that inspired the Egyptian pharaohs.

For the Dior Gold capsule, Chiuri reviewed dresses and skirts with tulle, silk, and colorful nets interspersed with meticulous embroidery, as well as the J’Adior 8 T-shirt, Monsieur Dior’s lucky number reference, and Palto jacket detailing the waist.
