Kate Middleton’s Casual Style Visits Museums, Wears Eco-Friendly Sneakers

Kate Middleton took the time to visit London’s Natural History Museum on Tuesday (22/6/2021) local time. Prince William’s wife appeared casual during the visit.

From the photos shared by the museum, Kate is seen wearing a combination of a white shirt from Ralph Lauren and a beautiful blazer from the Chloe brand. He then combined the top with classic blue jeans.

Kate then completed her casual style by wearing simple jewelry and sneakers. Vogue magazine reports that the sneakers that Kate wears are eco-friendly products from the Veja brand.

The uppers of Kate’s sneakers are made of organic leather and cotton. Then, the sole is made from sugar cane, sustainably harvested rubber from the Amazon rainforest, and recycled EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate).

Eco-friendly materials are also used to make the inside of the shoes. The material consists of organic cotton and plastic bottles that have been recycled.

In addition to being environmentally friendly, the cool sneakers worn by Kate Middleton are also priced at quite affordable prices. This pair of shoes is sold for only USD 130 or around Rp. 1.8 million.

Meanwhile, Kate Middleton visits London’s Natural History museum to learn more about how communities across the UK will benefit from the Urban Nature Project.

This project was created by the museum to help people reconnect with nature and teach them how to be more sustainable in their everyday lives. The project is planned to be launched later this year.
