The Ministry of Health urges the public to refrain from having a vacation rather than regretting it later

Some tourist locations are reportedly full of people who want to go on vacation. Starting from Ancol Dreamland, to Pangandaran Beach. In this tourist spot, you can see many residents playing on the beach side and appear to be disobeying health protocols.

Spokesperson for Covid-19 Vaccination, Siti Nadia Tarmizi, gave a response regarding this condition. According to him, it would be better if people refrain from taking holidays because the current situation is still a pandemic, which means that the spread of Covid-19 can still occur.

"It is better if we hold ourselves back. Currently, the risk of increasing cases is very large because of the movement and mobility and interaction that is very high. Once again, the government is appealing to all people to exercise restraint for the sake of mutual safety," said Siti Nadia to MNC Portal Indonesia via short message. , Sunday (16/5/2021).

He also reminded people to postpone activities that are not important because the situation is still a pandemic and we will see how neighboring countries such as Malaysia and Singapore have implemented restrictions and even lockdown.

Siti Nadia also appealed to providers of tourist locations that remain open to ensure that residents who visit tourist sites apply the program strictly. "Make sure the prokes entertainment place is run strictly," he explained.

"For now, it's better to avoid crowds than to push yourself which can make you regret it later," said Siti Nadia.
